Фриц Фрилинг назвал мультфильм «Розовая Финк» («The Pink Phink»), что можно еще перевести и как «Розовый негодяй» или «Розовый выпендрюля». Разумеется, главным героем мультфильма была Розовая Пантера, но еще одна личность, которая была задействована в картине — это маленький белый мужичок с усиками, которому как раз и вредит Пантера.
Первый мультфильм из серии «Розовая Пантера» сразу же получил «Оскара»-1964. Это был уже третья «золотая статуэтка» Фрица Фрилинга. От мультфильма все были в восторге, ничего подобного ещё никто никогда не видел!
Дело в том, что Дэвид ДеПати и Фриц Фрилинг сразу же заявили, что серия про Розовую Пантеру будет рассчитана только на взрослую аудиторию. В мультфильмах серии будет присутствовать всё только взрослое — там будет свой юмор, понятный только взрослому человеку, свои остроумные фразы, абсолютно не рассчитанные на детские мозги. «Розовая Пантера» на самом деле стала уникальной серией, полюбившаяся именно старшему поколению зрителей. Даже герои, которые играют свои роли в мультсериале, взрослые люди. ...
